The Original TEA Letter to DISD

This is the original letter from TEA Commissioner Robert Scott to DISD regarding its (historical) violation of State and Federal laws.

After Channel 8 ran its news story without being able to get a comment from DISD, spokesman Jon Dahlander explained why it is OK for DISD to break Federal law to save taxpayers' money.

Monitor Didn't Monitor?

TEA sent a monitor that hasn't helped DISD get anything accomplished since 2008. TEA needs to find better monitors. TEA and all its monitors are a waste of money!!
